Training Options for Boys and Girls

Our recreational Gymnastics training program is based on the USAG fundamentals of gymnastics training program. This is a skill development progressive program rather than an age-based program. This program is designed to provide an achievement-oriented, non-competitive atmosphere where progression of skills and fun while learning are guiding principles.
Girls train on four events: Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor exercise.
Boys train on six events: Floor exercise, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar.

The minimum age is 5 to start in the Fundamentals training program. Progression through the levels is based on skill acquisition. Each student has an online skill profile that you can access via your own password protected family portal. Gymnasts are evaluated regularly and their skill notes are updated as they continue to work on them. Coaches promote athletes to the next training level when the majority of skill requirements have been met in all relevant events. At All Star, we strive to acknowledge small & large achievements & encourage children to take pride in their accomplishments as they gain fundamental skills that they will build on as they move through the training levels. Level 1 class options are Open Enrollment with no prior experience required – all other levels require coach approval and prior experience to enroll. Classes are offered Monday through Saturday.

Note: Tuition rates are monthly. Multi-class & family discounts may apply.
